Today has been a good day at the tables. I have won 6 of 7 Double or Nothing SNGs, 5 of them were $5 and one was a $10 buy in. I finished 34th out of 3400+ players in a $5.50 tourney which netted me $25.
I broke even in the $10NL cash games I played. I was up $6 at one point but AA ran into AQ suited and they made their flush by the turn and all the money went in pre-flop.
I entered two other tournaments, a $3 rebuy with a $40,000 guaranteed prize pool and made it through the first two breaks and only added on to my stack but a couple of tough hands had me out before the money. the other tourney I should not have entered as I was getting tired and impatient and blew most of my chips early and just gave up. I have to remember not to play tired.

End of Day 1
So I had some fun at a $5NL table with some friends from a poker forum called Cardschat. Best forum for poker, imo. Great people, great advice and some damn fine players. After having some fun there, I decided to go to the $5 Double or Nothing turbo SNG on PokerStars.
I was going to play these until I won three in a row, then move to the regular $5 SNG. This hand is what propelled me to the 2nd win.
I was told I was a lucky donk after that hand, but I knew I had the odds to call and I checked later and found out that I was a 2:1 underdog but getting 4:1 on my money. And I thought I was getting better than that, as I thought they had an over pair or overcards, which puts me even money to win the hand.
Now I look at the clock and its 3:00am, I'll finish my 3rd one tomorrow.

Let the games begin !!
I have been playing online poker for just over a year now. Having lost more than I care to admit, I am going to chalk it all up to my tuition and the cost learning this wonderful and maddening game we call poker.
Having said that, I am making one final deposit on PokerStars and do not intend of ever depositing again. I will be updating my progress here for all the world to see with hand histories, advice and hopefully some humour along the way.
I will be following a strict Bankroll management system. That means always having 30 buyins for SNGs. 40 buyins for cash games and 50 buyins for MTT. I will not move up in stakes until I have to above noted buyins.
I look forward to your comments as this journey continues.
